How to Bid online
In our online only auction we sell equipment, consumer goods or anything in between in an online Timed Auction, with no auctioneer. Bidding opens and closes at specific times giving the bidders the opportunity to bid in an online only setting. Every item is sold to the highest bidder when bidding closes. Our online and onsite auctions give our bidders the opportunity to bid both onsite in person and online in real time simultaneously. Every item is sold to the highest bidder when the hammer drops!
Check our website, auction brochures and other advertising to check how items are being sold. Placing bids in our Timed Auctions is easy. Register to bid online.
You will see an overview of the bidding on each item under the photo. You can place your bids using the Quick Bid and Maximum Bid buttons, add the item to My Selections, see more photos or click on the lot description to view the bidding history.
To place a Maximum Bid, enter the amount you are willing to bid up to in the empty box, then click Maximum Bid. The system will put you in at the lowest bid possible and then bid for you, up to and including the amount you specify. Your Maximum Bid will be kept secret, and the system will only raise your bid if someone outbids you.
Following the Bidding
You will see the current high bid and ask prices on your computer screen. When you place a bid, you are bidding at the ask price. These numbers are updated in real time, so you can follow the auction as closely as someone bidding on-site.
Pay and collect your purchases
After the auction you will receive an invoice by email. When your invoice is paid in full, you can collect your purchases and put them to work!
